    • Apply over scalp. Rinse it after 30 min.

    Nimbuka (Citrus Lemon)

    It contains zinc, vitamin C, citric acid, and Flavonoids, making it ideal for anti-dandruff treatment. It is rich in antioxidants with antibacterial &antifungal properties.

    Directions for use:

    • Mix fresh nimbuka juice, fresh ginger juice, and olive oil in equal quantities.
    • Apply this mixture over scalp roots and gently massage for a few minutes.
    • Leave for an hour and wash it off.
    • Rubbing lemon juice all over the scalp before taking a bath also prevents dandruff.

    Nimba (Neem)

    It is best known for its antifungal property, which helps fight against dandruff.

    Directions for use:

    • Massage your scalp with Neem oil a night before your hair wash. You can also apply the paste of neem leaves and curd all over your scalp.
    • Leave it for 15-30 minutes, then rinse it off.
    • Mix neem and amla powder, shikkaka, and reetha in equal quantities to make a thick paste.
    • Apply it over the scalp and wash it off an hour later.

    Aloe Vera

    it very effectively treats dandruff with its antifungal and antibacterial properties.

    Directions for use: 

    • Apply a thick paste of aloe vera juice on the scalp.
    • Leave it overnight and wash it off the next morning with an Ayurvedic shampoo.


    It is one of the most potent sources of vitamin C and is great for dandruff-laden scalp.

    • Prepare a paste from Amla and Tulsi. 
    • Apply the mask thoroughly across the scalp and rinse it off after 30 minutes.
